Live Music: The Whistling Oysters

We were very pleased to have a great band in attendance at this year's Salmon Bake. The Whistling Oysters are a local group who specialize in nostalgic, funny, often rowdy Irish drinking songs. We found their repertoire to be very entertaining, and a lot of visitors stayed to listen to the music after they'd finished their dinners.

At one point during the day, the Oysters started in on "What do you do with a drunken sailor," and the serving line burst into song!

(Note: Not all band members are shown above, but we thank them all equally for their musical contributions to the event, and for the pleasure of their company.)
